• A square toe reads wider across the front than a pointed flat, so a broad foot usually sits comfortably in the usual size.

• Satin has very little give, so it will not stretch to accommodate a high instep the way a soft fabric would.

Styling

Office to after-work drinks. Cropped trousers, a slip skirt, or straight-leg denim with the hem rolled so the dots show. The print does the work, so keep the rest plain.

Care

Satin marks easily. Spot-clean with a barely damp cloth and blot rather than rub - do not soak. Keep them out of the rain, and store in a dust bag so the finish does not scuff against other shoes.
