The Shoe Club does one thing: we choose good shoes at the source and sell them at honest prices.
Four fixed prices, no inflated originals. New styles arriving regularly. 30 days to change your mind, or a full year for A$1. That is the whole offer.
Who we are
The Shoe Club is operated by Flink Group Pty Ltd, ABN 47 688 800 973, an Australian company based in Melbourne. Our customer support sits here in Melbourne too, so when something isn't right you deal with us, in Australia, in your own time zone.
The choosing happens in China. That is where most of the world's footwear is made, so that is where we go to select it. Two places, one business: chosen there, answerable here.
Chosen at the source
We work face to face with factories and wholesale markets, comparing styles, fit, materials, construction and finish, one pair at a time. Choosing directly cuts out the layers that sit between a factory and a shelf, and that is most of what keeps our prices where they are.
Most orders ship directly from our sourcing partners; some ship from our Melbourne warehouse. Either way it arrives at your door, whether you're in Sydney, Perth, Darwin or anywhere in between. Either way you pay no customs or import fees, because the price at checkout is the whole price. Most orders arrive within 5 to 10 business days, with tracking from the moment yours is dispatched.
How we choose
Being close to the source means we see new styles early, sometimes before they reach other retailers. Then comes the real work.
We choose as a team, looking for pairs that work for real, everyday life. Only the styles we'd genuinely wear, and happily recommend to people we know, make the cut.
Why only four prices
Every pair sits at one of four prices, and each price is a level of build rather than a level of care:
- Essentials, A$9.95. Simply made. Fewer pieces, less structure, materials chosen to suit that.
- Easy, A$29.95. Everyday basics, with more shape and finish than the Essentials.
- Everyday, A$69.95. The workhorses. Built for the pair you reach for most days.
- Elevated, A$99.95. The most involved construction we carry, with the most components and finishing.
Every pair goes through the same checks whichever price it carries. What separates the four is materials and how complex the pair is to build, not a logo, not an inflated original price, not a made-up discount.
The price you see is our regular price. No inflated originals and no markdowns on our four prices. Now and then we add a bonus for bigger orders, and we always say when it ends.
Prices do move sometimes. When our costs change, or when a pair turns out to belong in a different tier, we change the price and leave it there. What we will never do is mark a pair up so we can mark it down later.
Which leaves only three questions worth asking about any pair:
- Is it a pair you actually like?
- Will it work for your everyday life?
- Is the quality worth the price?
Our promise
You have 30 days from delivery to change your mind. Add 365-Day Returns for A$1 in your bag and you have a full year. Keep the pair unworn, tried on indoors on carpet the way you would in a shop, with the tags on and the box intact, and we'll take it back. The full conditions are on the returns page, and we'd rather you read them before you try a pair on than find out afterwards.
If a pair is faulty, none of that applies. No tags, no box, no time pressure, and we pay the postage. We honour faults for at least twelve months, and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law aren't limited by anything we write here.
