Backless - the two buckles are what hold them on, so set them firm rather than loose.
The buckles adjust, which is what lets a high instep work in a strap shoe.
The platform is 6 cm but flat underfoot, so there is no heel pitch.
Styling
Wide-leg jeans, a midi skirt, or shorts. Slip-on and open at the back, so they belong in summer and at a festival more than on a wet morning. Khaki is the easier one to wear; black is the sharper one.
Care
Spot clean the canvas with a soft brush and a little mild soap, and let it dry fully before wearing - canvas holds a water mark. Wipe the platform with a damp cloth. Air dry away from direct sun and heat.
